Ch.15&adobe



1.How long have they been fighting for? How do they feel.

They have been fighting for five year. They feel normal , they have all gotten used to their life how it is.


2.Who arrived at the village? Describe.

The UNICEF had arrived at their village. The lieutenant chose some people and sent them with the UNICEF to start school and begin another life.


3.What did he considered his home and his family?

He considered the villages that they had captured and turn into their base as his home, and his family was the squad he fought with.


4.How long had he been fighting for? How old was he now?

He had been fighting for five years, He started fighting at the age of ten, but he was already 15.


5.What did he want to hear from Jumah ? Does that surprise you?

He wanted to hear war stories and how many people he had killed during the war. I t does not surprise me, his situation had made him like that.


6.What did the boys chat about all night?

They were talking about who they killed during the war, and other war stories.


7.Where are these men taking the 15 soldiers? Who would you feel if you had to leave your friends at war?

The men are taking the soldiers to some sort of rehabilitation center.


8.How did ishmael feel when he was in the truck? What was thinking of doing?

He was angry, he was thinking of taking their guns and pushing them off the truck and going back with the rest of his squad.


9.If they are all around the same age why would they want to fight each other?

They want to fight each other because that is what they are used to, and because they think they are rebels.


10.Who were the men in the clean clothes? how can they tell? examples from chapter


11.What did Ismael do to the man that tried to search him?

He pushed im and told him if he touched him he would kill him.


12.How do you think Ishmael is feeling?

I think he is confused, he got so used to fighting and killing that that is all he is used to now.


13.What did Ishmael see after passing the last checkpoint?

He saw manned soldiers all dressed in complete army pictures.


14.What happened after the new arrivals came in to the kitchen?

They started argueing with each other.


15.What did the boy have a tattoo of? What happened after?

He had a tattoo of RUF, the rebels ended up fighting against the army.


16.What cheered the boys up after the fight? Why.

How they dealt with the rebels.


17.Where did the military vehicles transport them to?

They took them to another rehabilitation center in Kissy Town at the outskirts of Freetown.


18.How did Ishmael feel in his new rehabilitation center?

He was jut curious about why he was there.


19.What did Ishmael do that scared the other boys that were trying to get crazy with Ishmaels' friends?

He took out his grenade.


20.What did the little rebel boy say was the reason he was fighting with RUF?

He said the army was the enemy, and that hey fought for freedom, and that the army killed and destroyed his village.


21.Was the refugee camp helping the boys ‘rehabilitate’?

No, they have a lot of work to do.


22.What happened to people trying to break up the fight?

They got stabbed or had guns pointing at them.


23.How many people were killed during the fight? Which sides were they from?

6 people died. 2 were from the armies side, and four were from the rebels side.

In the movie Apocolypto they capture the main characters tribe and use their bodies for sacrifice.

The outskirts of San Diego are National City ,Chula Vista, La Mesa and a lot of other cities.

Experienced Navy Seals are doing such a good job, that they get moved up to be Commander.
