1.1.The towns are empty, food, bodies, peoples items were scattered everywhere.

2.2.They snuck back to get money to buy some food.

3.3.They saw dead bodies everywhere, scattered body parts, rotten food, and a lot of other stuff.

4.4.The houses were all torn apart and broken down.

5.5.They were happy because the money was exactly where it was left.

6.6.No they didn’t eat well. Nobody was selling food, they were trying to save it for themselves. They had to steal food from people while others were sleeping.

•The main characters in the book do a lot of traveling to escape death.

•Sneak: to go in a stealthy or furtive manner

•In the book the main characters also sneak around trying not to be seen.

•War: a conflict carried on by force of arms, as between nations or between parties within a nation; warfare, as by land, sea, or air.

•War can damage many people lives, it is very dangerous and can kill a lot of people.
